Andrew Wyeth: The Helga Pictures
Mint Museum of Art
October 16, 2004 - January 9, 2005
Andrew Wyeth has become one of the most influential and well-known painters in the history of American art. From 1971 to 1985, Wyeth undertook a long, intensive and secretive study of one model – Helga Testorf, one of his neighbors in Chadds Ford, PA.
This exhibition presents 70 of the 240 works in this series in tempera, drybrush, watercolor and pencil. (Organized by International Art & Artists.)
